Summary: Christmas time is here and it’s all over the campus at Sant Ignazi. I went to Athens for one last weekend of solo exploration. Terrific museums, delicious lamb souvlaki, lively markets, and the Parthenon of course. Aside from needing to sprint from my broken down train to the terminal at the opposite side of the airport in Athens and nearly missing my flight, every minute of the 48 hours I was in the ancient city of poets and philosophers was smooth. 

 

I’m growing to become satisfied with my journey the past three months and now beginning to look towards home to be with family and old friends in Buffalo over the Christmas holiday. Next weekend I have set aside to be in Barcelona to take the necessary time to say goodbye. I suspect it will be more difficult than it sounds...
