Travel Writing!!

Mr. Russell Fiorella, a member of Prep’s Religion Department, embarked on a trip to Jerusalem last week accompanied by Mr. Adam Baber, Principal of McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, New York, and his cousin, Kevin Reiser, a recent graduate with a bachelors in History from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While abroad, Mr. Fiorella’s freshmen and sophomores followed the journey on his blog, “Sacra Terra” and used the blog as a model for their own imaginative travel logs themed on the journey of the Israelites through the wilderness in Exodus.  Mr. Fiorella’s freshmen also had the opportunity to attend a live Skype session to hear from Mr. Fiorella and his companions about their experiences and ask questions.
