Iter ut Terra Sacra

A Journey to Sacred Land

To My Students at St. Peter's Prep,

Welcome to my travel blog!

As you know I will be exploring the Holy Land over nine days with my cousin Kevin Reiser and my good friend Adam Baber who you can learn more about by following the "Three Maghamirs" tab above. As we discussed in class, this blog is meant to model for you the art of travel writing for your own projects and for following my experiences in real time.

I invite you to check for new entries, reflection questions, sounds and photos each day. One of the hopes is that you feed off of my creative energy as you compose your own imaginative travel logs for wandering through the Sinai wilderness and traveling with Jesus along the road to Jerusalem! Lots of opportunities for all of us to learn together, let's seize it!

Be mindful of Israel's time difference (seven hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time). I'll be doing my best to publish posts somewhat regularly, hopefully uploading new content both to this site and to my instagram account each afternoon, your time!

Questions or comments directed toward Kevin, Adam, and me are welcome! Just send an email to fiorellar@spprep.org and maybe an answer to your question will be featured in a daily entry!

Lastly but most importantly, I ask for prayers for my companions and my safety and good fortune as we journey through these sacred lands.

Cheers,

Mr. Fiorella
